Working principle
Charging process: Utilizing external electrical energy to regenerate internal active substances and store electrical energy as chemical energy. Lead dioxide (PbO ₂) on the positive electrode plate and sponge like lead (Pb) on the negative electrode plate generate lead sulfate (PbSO₄) and water (H ₂ O), respectively, under the action of electrolyte (dilute sulfuric acid). As charging progresses, lead sulfate gradually converts into lead dioxide and lead, and the concentration of sulfuric acid in the electrolyte increases.
Discharge process: Convert stored chemical energy into electrical energy output. The lead dioxide on the positive electrode plate and the lead on the negative electrode plate, under the action of the electrolyte, generate lead sulfate and water again, while releasing electrons to form an electric current.Application scenarios
